Platform Terms

§ 1. Types of electronically provided services

1.

The Operator provides electronic services consisting in particular of:

  • enabling the creation and use of a User Account,
  • enabling logging in to the Platform,
  • providing access to purchased Courses and Digital Content,
  • playback of video materials
  • providing PDF materials or other educational materials,
  • sending technical, organisational or access-related notifications regarding the Platform.
2.

The electronic services are available via the WebToLearn Platform or another platform indicated by the Operator.

3.

Access to Courses and Digital Content is granted for the period stated in the description of the given Course or offer.

§ 2. User Account

1.

Use of Courses and Digital Content may require the creation of a User Account.

2.

The Account is individual and assigned to a single User.

3.

The User is obliged to provide true and up-to-date data.

4.

The User is obliged to keep login credentials confidential and not to make the Account available to third parties.

5.

Sharing a User Account with other persons is prohibited.

6.

The Operator may restrict or block access to the Account in the event of a breach of the Terms, in particular sharing the Account with third parties or using the Platform in a manner contrary to law.

§ 3. Technical requirements

1.

The following are required to use the Platform and Digital Content:

  • a device with Internet access,
  • a current web browser supporting JavaScript and cookies,
  • an active e-mail account,
  • the ability to play audio and video materials,
  • the ability to open PDF files,
  • enabled cookie support.
2.

The Platform is compatible with current versions of the most popular web browsers, in particular Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

3.

The Operator does not guarantee full interoperability of the Platform with non-standard software or devices modified by the User.

4.

The Operator exercises due diligence to ensure continuous and uninterrupted use of the Platform, however it does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform.

5.

The Operator is not liable for technical problems resulting from:

  • malfunction of the User’s device,
  • lack of Internet access,
  • use of outdated software,
  • failures on the part of Internet providers or external services.
6.

The Operator reserves the right to temporarily limit the availability of the Platform due to technical work, updates or system maintenance.

§ 4. Prohibition of providing unlawful content

1.

The User is obliged to use the Platform in accordance with the law, good practice and the provisions of the Terms.

2.

It is prohibited for the User to provide content of an unlawful nature, infringing the law, the personal rights of third parties or the principles of social conduct.

3.

It is prohibited to copy, distribute, share with third parties or use Digital Content in a manner inconsistent with the granted licence.

§ 5. Conclusion and termination of the contract for electronic services

1.

The contract for the provision of electronic services is concluded upon the creation of an Account or the commencement of use of the Platform.

2.

The User may cease using the Platform at any time by discontinuing use of the Platform or by contacting the Operator.

3.

Deletion of the Account does not affect obligations arising from previously concluded Contracts, in particular obligations relating to payments, licences, copyright and the protection of Digital Content.

§ 6. Complaints regarding the functioning of the Platform

1.

The User may submit a complaint regarding the functioning of the Platform, in particular problems with logging in, access to the Account, playback of materials or use of Digital Content.

2.

The complaint should be sent electronically to: kontakt@przedchwila.pl.

3.

The complaint should contain:

  • the User’s first and last name,
  • the e-mail address assigned to the Account,
  • a description of the problem,
  • the User’s request.
4.

The Operator considers the complaint within 14 days of its receipt.

5.

The response to the complaint is sent to the User’s e-mail address.

§ 7. Final provisions

1.

In matters not regulated by these Platform Terms, the provisions of the Shop Terms and the applicable Polish law shall apply.
